PURPOSE

Who sets the direction for the Flathead Valley, influences the quality of life or its citizens and helps guarantee a strong future?

No single person provides a total resource to a community. A community's best resource is its citizens and leaders.

The Flathead is a progressive community that recognizes it must continually attract and encourage emerging and existing leaders to participate in community activities and help in the decision-making process.

LEADERSHIP FLATHEAD provides a total community leadership development program.

LEADERSHIP FLATHEAD promotes a dynamic opportunity for a wide range of citizen participants.

Program goals are:

To identify and motivate emerging and existing leaders;

To acquaint those leaders with community information;

To improve communication between present and future leaders of the Flathead Valley.

To supplement the training received by these leaders in such a way as to maximize their contributions to this community.
